Position: Countroom Representative - Full Time (Harrah's Joliet)

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS
  • Performs currency drop and table games drop according to required regulatory and internal procedures.
  • Counts and records table games, electronic gaming device and non-gaming drops according to procedures.
  • Removes and replaces slot machine drop boxes on a regularly scheduled basis.
  • Transfers drop boxes to count room.
  • Makes minor repairs and maintenance of count room equipment.
  • Maintains upkeep of count room.
  • Notifies count room supervisor or manager of malfunctioning equipment.
  • Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
  • Works well in a team environment to promote atmosphere of unity and trust.
  • Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs all related duties as assigned.
  • Maintains full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma required or equivalent required.
  • Adding machine knowledge and computer terminal operation helpful.
  • Must be able to work very early mornings, holidays, and weekends.
JOB DEMANDS
  • Frequently lifts and/or carries objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Position requires 90% standing, 10% walking.
  • Requires frequent stooping and reaching overhead; very frequent bending, pushing, twisting and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to respond to touch, speech, aural and visual cues.
