Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for experienced school psychologists to support students in a K-8 school setting. These onsite positions involve working directly within multiple elementary and middle schools, providing psychological services that promote student success and well-being.
Locations:
Positions are based in Glendale Heights, IL.
Employment Type:
Contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the school year (August to May, exact dates TBD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including early childhood assessments and records reviews as needed.
- Manage caseloads within assigned schools: one position serves the middle school population, while two positions are split across four elementary schools (two schools per psychologist).
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized educational plans and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and working within school environments, preferably with PreK through 8th grade students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Ability to work onsite and engage collaboratively with school staff and families.
