How you'll contribute

A Graduate Nurse (GN) who excels in this role:

* Evaluate-- Independently evaluates and determines work assignments and evaluates job

* performance, recognizes performances.

* Assigns and Directs Work-Covers call-offs, adjusts schedule as needed.

* Adjusts Grievances-- Meets with employees to listen to and resolve employee issues and

* grievance.

* Discipline-- Implements performance improvements including verbal counseling.

* Exercises Supervisory Authority-- Develops and implements department and/or hospital policy; insures all employees are trained in policy; exercises discretion, independent of policy to insure proper function of department or subdepartment.

* Supervise staff delivering patient care within Emergency Services.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license or PA Temporary Practice Permit. Possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
