Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in a Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit on a night shift, requiring a PA or compact RN license and at least two years of recent experience.

• Position is in a Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit
• Med/Surg patient population with progressive care responsibilities
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No permanent address may be within 60 miles of the assignment location
• Previous permanent staff of any Lifepoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Standard responsibilities include providing nursing care to Med/Surg and progressive care patients
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in a relevant setting
• Current COVID-19 vaccination card required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• RQI certifications not accepted
• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere
