** JOB REQUIREMENTS
***** To qualify for the RN Supervisor position, you must have:
**** Graduated from an accredited nursing program
* Current unencumbered licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
* Positive Attitude!
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
* Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.
* CPR and Handle With Care Certification (HWC certification will be provided upon hire.)
* Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff.
* More than one (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
* BLS training preferred.
** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
***** As RN Supervisor, you will:
**** Assist in orientation and training of new employees and participate in their ongoing training.
* Develop and communicate shift assignments for nursing staff and monitor job performance to assure that staff are performing their work assignments within acceptable nursing standards.
* Ensure that all nursing staff follow established departmental policies and procedures.
* Keep the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers informed of staff, resident, family, and/or center concerns/needs and other related information and assist with solutions as needed.
* Review reports from other shifts and ensure follow-up as needed…
