• Responsible for coding, testing, analysis, design, definition, development and implementation of business applications within FM Global's Information Services department.
• Understand FM Global's business goals and develop solutions that are aligned with those goals.
• In conjunction with senior members of the team, prepare technical specifications and participate in design reviews.
• Create and review documentation at appropriate level to allow for maintenance and extension of the application.
• Provide input for estimates and time frames for requirements and tasks.
• Participate on various sized business application development/enhancement solutions.
• Develop technical expertise needed to provide support for systems of varying levels of complexity.
• Participate in testing and debugging of overall system as required.
• Support implementation of applications into production and post-production.
• Interface with IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined business requirements and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 2 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving business application development including report design, development, and support.
• Experience with technologies for packaged systems and tools, including database skills, query language, reporting and scripting languages (e.g., SQL), translating requirements into backlog tasks, and models into technical processes and/or business system designs.
• Completing unit testing in software environments.
• Report writing utilizing software such as COGNOS, SQL and Power BI.
• Telecommuting is permitted.
• Can reside anywhere in the United States.
• Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) business hours and attend ad hoc meetings at the Corporate Office in Johnston, Rhode Island at a minimum of 1 time per quarter.

Salary: $85,862 to $128,600/year
