IT Infrastructure Manager

AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies. However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of key enterprise systems and platforms, such as cloud services, identity and collaboration tools, business applications, databases, and the supporting infrastructure they rely on.
• Ensure team activities are aligned with customer and organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the business unit leaders and end users regarding pertinent IT activities and issues.
• Work closely with stakeholders and business unit management to develop technology strategies and define business and systems requirements for technology efforts.
• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure technology services meet existing and future business, technology, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain Operational standards, policies, metrics, and procedures, ensuring overall excellence in IT operations.
• Collaboratively establish and track service level objectives and both project and operational performance indicators, building plans to identify and address related issues.
• Keep current with and appropriately apply professional trends and best practices. Approve and manage team projects and oversee project portfolio.
• Supervise IT staff, including recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation, and performance management.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred;
Master's degree (MIS) is a plus. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

9 or more years’ experience in IT or a related field, with strong background in leading Infrastructure & Operations teams responsible for platforms, cloud services, identity, networking, virtualization, storage, backup/DR, monitoring, and operational service delivery.

• Ability to thrive as part of a diverse, collaborative management team.
• Demonstrated Operational and Project Management competence and experience.
• Strong ability to analyze and communicate root cause for both technical and non-technical issues.
• Ability to communicate technology-related issues with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from end users to Senior Management.

Salary Range: $117,000 - $186,800 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
