Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Business Support Specialist to join their team. As a Business Support Specialist, you will be part of the lending operations team supporting account review processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Payment Activity Research Analyst to support our loan operations team. In this role, you will conduct payment activity research, review account histories, and identify first delinquency dates for various loan and credit line accounts. This position requires strong data entry skills, the ability to follow established SOPs, and effective communication within internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Research payment activity for loan and credit line accounts to determine first delinquency dates.
- Review payment and debit history across internal systems.
- Perform accurate data entry, including basic adding and subtracting (no complex formulas required).
- Follow established SOPs and procedural guidelines consistently.
- Communicate with internal partners via email and Microsoft Teams.
- Provide clear feedback, ask clarifying questions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity while performing repetitive processing tasks.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience (operations, data entry, processing, or research roles preferred).
- Experience working in roles requiring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and general MS Office applications.
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while following defined processes.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and quality.
- Comprehensive training program covering SOPs, system navigation, and research processes.
- Peer‑based quality control and support throughout onboarding.
- Prior experience in operational, processing, financial services, or production‑based roles.
- Familiarity with reviewing transaction history or account‑level data a plus, but not required.
