The Marketing Account Manager at Merit Management Group is responsible for managing client relationships (our portfolio company general managers and other leaders), translating business objectives into effective marketing strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of campaigns across channels.

The Account Manager oversees day-to-day account activities, coordinates deliverables with creative, content, and digital teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with client goals. You will proactively identify opportunities for growth, optimize performance based on results, and maintain a high standard of client satisfaction through clear communication and strategic insight.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each client’s brand and business goals.
• Manage and delegate tasks to a team of creatives (designer, photographer/videographer, content specialist), ensuring projects progress smoothly and meet deadlines.
• Oversee client budgets, monitor spend across campaigns, and ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
• Manage multi-channel campaigns, including digital advertising, social media, email and content marketing.
• Collaborate with creative team to ensure deliverables align with brand identity and marketing objectives.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Stay current with industry trends in HVAC, interior design, cabinetry, and home remodeling.

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, account management, or brand strategy.
• Background in, or strong knowledge of, interior design, home improvement, or related industries.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools).
