• Collaborates with business and analytics leaders to generate insights and answer business questions using techniques such as advanced data visualization, statistical analysis, randomized testing, predictive modeling, forecasting, optimization, and/or machine learning.
• Proposes innovative analytical approaches to business problems using enterprise data as well as customer third‑party data.
• Performs basic statistical analysis of low to moderately complex data from a single source, leveraging industry-standard tools and existing models.
• Works with data sets and applies appropriate analytical methodologies to deliver insights and support decision‑making.
• Creates and implements algorithms to manage and prepare data for efficient analysis.
• Supports communication of insights through effective data visualization techniques.
• Partners with Data Wranglers and/or IT to identify required data sources and implement methods for data extraction and usage.
• Stays current on the latest analytical techniques and recommends appropriate applications for business needs; translates methods into business terms.
• Applies analytical techniques to identify business insights and uncover valuable patterns in data.

• Strong quantitative analytical skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry practices and business processes.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on persuasive communication and tact.
• Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline (4-year university degree or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
• 1-3 years of data analytics experience, including mining data for insights.
• Exposure to enterprise statistical tools such as SAS, Statistica, SPSS, or SAS Enterprise Miner.
