A leading research lab located in Johnston, Iowa, is looking for a Lab Technician to assist with supporting scientific research through various routine laboratory tasks. The successful candidate will perform microbial strain culture, protein extraction, PCR, and maintain inventory. Ideal applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field and have previous laboratory experience. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word are key requirements.
