Sales Trainee Outside Sales - Johnson , TN

Under general supervision, this role develops industry-specific knowledge and experience required for promotion to the Outside Sales Representative role.

You may rotate through various departments to observe, learn, and perform responsibilities to acquire industry knowledge, functional processes, and sales techniques. You will receive training and perform progressively responsible duties in areas such as yard operations, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, and inside sales while learning the outside sales role. You may accompany Outside Sales Reps or the Sales Manager on customer calls to become familiar with effective sales and customer service techniques.

You may be assigned inside sales/counter responsibilities (answering phone, taking orders, etc.) and various Outside Sales duties (takeoffs, processing orders, obtaining signatures, making sales calls to new and existing customers).
