About the RoleAs Assistant Local Manager
, you will work alongside our Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.
- Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain core values and policies.
- Assist Local Manager with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup and testing, staff scheduling, training, and learning proper opening and closing procedures.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery.
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
- Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and/or recruiting.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills and the ability to use good judgment to make strong, independent decisions.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
- Professional attire and good hygiene are a must.
- Available to attend mandatory pre-season training.
- Flexibility and willingness to work during “peak” retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently.
