American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, with night shifts and rotating weekends.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift: 18:30–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to Med/Surg required, with a 1:7 patient ratio when floated
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• 13-week contract

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation begins on Sundays and consists of online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travelers are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside regular patient care duties
• Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius rule is strictly enforced
