Assistant General Manager – Sun Tan City

Hourly pay plus personal & manager bonuses & free tanning.

Annual salary range: $43,888 - $46,388.

Assists the Salon Director in managing daily salon operations, ensuring a high‑energy, client‑centric environment, and striving to meet or exceed productivity goals.

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations, including creating a client‑centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top‑line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work evenings, Saturdays and Sundays as required; reliable transportation and ability to visit the bank as needed.
• Expect to work five days per week, approximately 40‑45 hours per week, depending on hourly or salary status.

• Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple situations simultaneously.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.

• Strong leadership skills, with ability to coach and mentor while following supervisory practices and procedures.

• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
• Perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
