Position summary:
The Senior Technical Business Analyst works closely with the Solutions Engineering team in the planning, design, and documentation of large-scale, enterprise-grade technical initiatives within Ntara's Product Experience Management (PXM) practice. Engagements span commerce and content-driven websites, Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and related ecosystem integrations, delivered on platforms implemented for Ntara's clients.
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will bring deep expertise across the digital ecosystem-from systems architecture and data modeling to integration strategy and analytics. Working under the architectural guidance of the Solutions Engineering team, you will act as a strategic partner within delivery, translating client requirements and solution intent into executable implementation plans while guiding teams through complex enterprise-scale initiatives. You'll join a highly regarded PXM team made up of experienced architects, engineers, and analysts, offering opportunities to deepen technical leadership while shaping how complex digital ecosystems are delivered.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted delivery partner to clients, building strong relationships and deeply understanding their business goals, workflows, and technical landscapes in support of engineering-led initiatives.
- Drive delivery-focused system and solution strategy using deep PXM expertise to align implementation approaches with long-term business objectives.
- Partner with client and internal leadership to define, prioritize, and maintain digital roadmaps and multi-phase delivery plans.
- Lead complex system enhancement and optimization initiatives, from discovery through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership to Technical Business Analysts by delegating work, reviewing and validating deliverables, mentoring best practices, and serving as the primary escalation point for delivery-related questions and challenges.
- Own problem-solving across all aspects of PXM implementations, including data, integrations, workflows, and user experience.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews by engaging in technical discussions, asking clarifying questions and translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for solutioning.
- Lead documentation and solution planning for PIM, DAM, ecommerce, CMS, and related enterprise systems, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all technical requirements for solutioning.
- Produce clear, executive-ready documentation, including:
- System architecture and process diagrams
- Integration and data flow models
- Schema-level attribute definitions
- Attribute and data mappings across systems
- Lead requirements gathering and author detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet client expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement by contributing to process enhancements, templates, and delivery standards.
- Support and guide management efforts for both clients and internal teams.
- Maintain an average 80% billable utilization rate, inclusive of client delivery and approved internal initiatives.
- Accurately track time and work effort in accordance with Ntara standards and project expectations.
- Proactively communicate availability, capacity constraints, and delivery risks to project management.
- Balance utilization expectations with delivery quality, technical leadership, mentoring, and internal contributions.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Digital Media, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of a formal degree
- Advanced coursework or certifications in Business Analysis, Systems Architecture, Data Management, or Agile delivery are a plus
- 6-10+ years of progressive experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
