Overview

We are hiring immediately for full-time DISHWASHER positions.

Location:

Ballad Health Franklin Woods Community Hospital - 300 Med Tech Park, Johnson City, Tennessee 37604.

Schedule:

Full time;
Days may vary, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

Requirement:
Prior food service experience is preferred.

Additional Info:
This position is contingent upon the candidate clearing both a criminal background check and a drug screening after receipt of an offer. Nicotine testing is not included or required.

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine as appropriate. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using the appropriate methods and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; performs routine cleaning of garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
