Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and travel experience.

Responsibilities
Work in a hospital setting on the 3rd floor Medical Unit
Patient population includes general med/surg cases
12-hour night shifts
13-week assignment duration
No on-call responsibilities
Strict RTO policies: maximum 5 days off unless near a holiday, in which case only 3 days are allowed
Only one holiday off request will be considered
Multiple days of RTO during holidays will not be approved; time off must be spread out
First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
At least 18 months of Med/Surg nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no locals allowed
Returning Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning and 18 months if returning to the same facility
