Key purpose:

The Specialist Technician in maintenance of cranes, container ships and lifting platforms will report to the Workshop Manager and will be responsible for training and managing the maintenance team dedicated to trucks and trailers. Will be responsible for the team's performance in this area and for the organisation of the area, means and activities. The position is based in Luanda, Angola.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic system and other components of cranes, container ships and platforms
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Test equipment and verify operational efficiency
• Prepare and maintain records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Organize tasks, priorities and area of action
• Distribute the activities by the team
• Build and lead teams
• Detect skills deficits and propose training plans
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum experience of 8 years in diagnosis and repair of cranes and container ships
• Possess the required license and certificates
• Experience in TEREX brand equipment, preferably, or Liebherr.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic and electrical systems of cranes.
• Proficiency in handling diagnostic equipment and software and test equipment
• Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical schematics
