Purpose Of The Job:
Our client a well-established automotive business based in the Westrand, is seeking a Qualified Automotive Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. The successful candidate must be reliable, technically competent, and willing to work overtime at short notice when required.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs accurately
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Complete job cards and technical reports correctly
- Adhere to workshop safety standards and company procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet workshop targets and deadlines
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Trade Test essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience as a qualified technician in a dealership environment
- Must reside within the Westrand area
- Valid Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Own reliable transport
- Willing and able to work overtime at short notice
- Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
