Your missionsJob Summary
Ceva Animal Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our Ruminant and Swine Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, developing strategic relationships, and driving sales to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Ruminant & Swine industry, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy: Implement and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and business goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical, and product development teams to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements together with the BU Manager to maximize profit and ensure mutual benefit.
- BSc degree or Diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field. SAAHA Training modules would be considered beneficial.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the Ruminant and Swine industry.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with experience in developing and executing Account Business Plans
- Strong negotiation, closing, and decision-making capabilities
- Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of the Ruminant & Swine market and business acumen
- Experience in the Ruminant and Swine fields.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with the South African Ruminants and Swine animal markets.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
