Position: Business Development Representative with lubricant sales experience – Limpopo

Overview

Sinopec South Africa is expanding its footprint in the Limpopo region and is looking for a driven, commercially minded Business Development Representative to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in the field, understands industrial and commercial customers, and is motivated by building long-term, value-based relationships.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across the Limpopo region, managing key accounts, and expanding Sinopec’s presence across priority sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Managing and growing an assigned customer portfolio
  • Building strong relationships with distributors, fleet operators, and industrial clients
  • Promoting Sinopec’s fuels, lubricants, and related solutions
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to regional growth objectives
  • Providing market feedback and competitor insights to management
Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Experience in lubricants, fuels, industrial products, mining, logistics, or fleet sales will be highly advantageous
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a regional role
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Limpopo
  • Basic computer literacy (CRM, email, reporting)
