SUMMARY
External Sales Area Representative - Steel industry
POSITION INFO- Matric
- Previous external sales experience (steel industry an advantage)
- Valid driver's license
- Steel or fabrication industries
- Good technical understanding of steel products and services
- Servicing and managing an existing customer base
- Continually adding new customers and expanding business within the assigned area and border regions if required
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
- Proactively following up on current projects, quotations and orders
- Expediting orders and providing regular progress feedback to customers
- Working closely with internal sales and production teams to ensure smooth operational flow
- Providing structured feedback via sales reports, including customer activity opportunities and market trends
