Branch Manager – Retail

R18K – R25K basic salary. No benefits.

The Branch Manager is accountable for the successful operation of the store, managing branch employees, achieving sales targets and budgets, and executing company initiatives.

• Mon – Fri: 08:30 – 17:30
• Sat: 08:30 – 14:30
• Sun: 09:30 – 13:00

Management is expected at the store 45‑60 minutes before opening.

• Plan and direct day‑to‑day activities of the branch.
• Promote the store, product offerings, and service quality.
• Maintain store attractiveness, presentability and cleanliness.
• Ensure adequate staffing by hiring, scheduling and training staff.
• Supervise staff across customer service, product knowledge, store maintenance, promotions and branch administration.
• Achieve sales targets while managing controllable costs and maintaining profitability.
• Ensure product display meets merchandising guidelines.
• Implement and maintain a strong inventory management system, focusing on appropriate inventory levels, minimizing out‑of‑stocks, stock counts, accurate ordering, supplier contact, minimizing shrinkage and write‑offs, and meeting GP% targets.
• Run branch administration in line with SOPs and safeguard company assets.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
• Manage HR duties as needed.

• Matric certificate.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Good skill with retail ERP programs.
• 5–7 years retail management experience.

• Good sales and customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive nature.
• High level of integrity and honesty.

Matric essential.

At least FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE as a RETAIL BRANCH MANAGER.
