We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help the company meet the tenant acquisition and rental unit occupancy targets by keeping the company and systems competitive and innovative.

The position will require the successful candidate to oversee the leasing aspect of the residential portfolio.

The candidate will be responsible for maximizing the letting team's potential, crafting and executing leasing plans and budgets and implementing and monitoring systems.

The candidate needs to be able to help his/her teams build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships in order to promote customer retention in the form of renewed leases.

The candidate should therefore have an ability to:

  • Coach other employees and impart sales techniques to other members of the team where necessary
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Be familiar with sales software options and have strong Excel skills. Must be able to research and implement sales related tools like CRM systems
  • Remain familiar with competing buildings and what they offer and recommend changes needed to the pricing and specials as well as what products to supply for future developments
  • Analyse advertising return on spend and recommend and budget for future spend on various platforms (online and physical)
  • Motivate sales teams to complete sales (leases)
  • Make sure teams maintain relationships with existing tenants to keep them satisfied and promote renewals and referrals
  • Make sure all teams are processing leases efficiently and effectively within acceptable time frames at the correct prices
  • Work cross‑functionally with letting agents as well as administrators and property managers to align goals and objectives to ensure tenants’ needs are met as this all affects leasing and renewals
  • Generate original solutions and lots of new ideas
  • Plan and lead regular sales team meetings
  • Target corporates and market to the corporates staff
  • Strong command of English language and be able to write creative copy
