About the role Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the marketing department with its initiatives and campaigns. Daily tasks are predominantly based on support to the Marketing Director, support to the sales teams, support to the Digital Co-Ordinator and support to the Product team. Duties may include department administration, vendor management, marketing material stock management, coordinating marketing and community events, hampers, assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of product photography, social media, and marketing campaigns (both Trade and Retail).

• Independently coordinate marketing conferences and trade events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral, product and shelving.
• Assist with developing and managing promotional items, POS, product photography and social media marketing - may include the creation of reels, videos and campaign in conjunction with the Digital Marketer.
• Manage marketing storeroom inventory, orders, requests and housekeeping.
• See to all requests from sales teams for marketing support, both local and coastal. Ensuring product literature and annual diaries and calendars are distributed in time nationally, correctly packed, labelled and handed over to distribution.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
• See to requests for brand logos and product photography.
• Identify and source advertising opportunities for all associated Fluidra brands above- and below-the-line.
• Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
• Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
• Assist the Marketing Director with the optimisation of the annual marketing budget through vendor credits, necessary agreements, correct allocation of expenses, and accurate forecasting.
• Assist the Marketing Director with the development and maintenance of a Master Data Product File containing active product information in a central place with critical data required by Trade & Retail for listings and e-commerce purposes.
• Assist with product photography and maintenance for photography database storage.

About you:

• National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
• Marketing Diploma or Degree
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Administration and Event planning experience is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva and social media platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook. Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator would be an advantage
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• A natural flair for and understanding of the digital opportunities
• Sound numerical and analytical abilities
• Very High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, administration and time management skills
• Team Player, but also able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Highly driven and proactive nature
• Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  Friendly and outgoing nature for effective assistance and communication with staff and suppliers.
• Good health and high energy
• Physical work is involved in setting up trade shows and packing boxes for sales teams and hampers – almost on a weekly basis
• Valid driver’s license with own transport
