Job / Personal Requirements Brief Description of Duties
- Receiving of all parts deliveries and ensure that the documentation has been signed and copies are sent to relevant departments for processing and/or safe keeping.
- Organizing of parts to respective production orders.
- Issuing of machine build parts to shop floor artisans.
- Keeping of traceable records of parts issued to final assembly floor.
- Usage of a forklift for moving of components from DC and WIP store to final assembly floor.
- Working with schedulers
, team leaders and foremen regarding parts control and timeous issuing of parts to FA. - Keeping sh
ortage list updated. - Adherence to 6S housekeeping.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- ? At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.
- ? Knowledge of different CM assembly parts would be an advantage.
- ? Computer literate in MS office suit and Excel.
- ? Must have a valid forklift license.
