A Vacancy exists for a Site Manager
- Specialised Operational Team Leader in the Mining Division based in Harmony Gold – Orkney Operations
.

• Plan special surface and underground operations.
• Conduct special surface and underground operations.
• Tactically respond to incidents on surface and underground.
• Conduct shaft searches on surface and underground.
• Escorting of employees into underground operations.
• Observe employees/contractors working inside high risk areas.
• Co-ordination of intelligence gathered on illegal activities.
• Co-ordination and supervision of team members.
• Knowledge of PRP Buzz system, duty rosters, rostering of employees.
• Knowledge and updating of DMS and all DFO functions.
• Client liaison and professional client relationship.
• Incident management.
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code.
• Ensure that all company SOPs are followed.
• Ensure that court procedures are fulfilled.
• Liaise with HR department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfilment thereof.

• PSIRA certification - Grade A
• Must be able to pass all underground medical requirements.
• Completed Proto training will be advantageous.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Underground experience of a Gold mine is compulsory.
• Experience of Gold related investigations, and clandestine operations will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of Camera and Alarm System
• Business Firearm competency handgun, shotgun and rifle/Self-loading rifle.
• The ability to communicate and present at all levels.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to work long hours when required to do so.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Drivers licence and driving competent.
