Your day at NTT DATA

This role is primarily to support the development, implementation and monitoring of the Inc. Group Compliance program. You will be working across jurisdictions and engage with global stakeholders. You should have a passion for compliance and corporate ethics.

This role involves conducting research, monitoring compliance activities, and assisting in the development and implementation of regulatory compliance policies, procedures and processes.

This role is instrumental in assisting the company with adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring that it operates within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations while minimizing legal risks and promoting ethical conduct.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Stays updated on relevant global and/or regional laws, regulations, and industry standards that affect the IT sector and supports with analyzing and interpreting regulatory changes and assesses their impact on the organization.

Assists in monitoring the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Assists with the tracking of compliance initiatives, conducting compliance audits/ risk assessments, and reviewing documentation.

Assists in the development, review, and updating of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.

Contributes to the identification and assessment of potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.

Assists in the development of mitigation plans associated with compliance risks and vulnerabilities.

Assists in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and auditors.

Participates in the development and delivery of compliance training programs to educate employees on compliance standards, regulations, and best practices.

Maintains accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities and initiatives.

Assists in the development and management of incident response plans for compliance-related breaches or violations.

Knowledge and Attributes:

Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the IT industry, including anti- bribery and corruption laws, data protection laws, export controls, and industry-specific regulations.

Analytical skills to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements.

Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey compliance information to team members and stakeholders.

Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to compliance standards.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Aptitude for identifying compliance challenges and proposing potential solutions.

Possesses high ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to promoting a culture of compliance and ethics.

Has data analysis skills to assist in compliance monitoring and reporting.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Has organizational and time management skills, together with effective planning and problem-solving skills.

Academic Qualifications and

Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in law, business, compliance, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in compliance

Required Experience:

basic/ moderate level of knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including anti- bribery and corruption, data protection laws, antitrust regulations, export controls, and industry-specific regulations.

Moderate level of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within the IT industry or a related field.

Moderate level of experience with compliance auditing, reporting, and documentation.

Moderate level of experience working within a global matrixed organization, preferably within the IT services industry.
