You will work for our Banking & Financial Services clients across various domains including Lending, Mortgages, Payments & Capital markets to deliver high quality technology solutions on time and within budgets.

What’s the Role?

As a Business Analyst you will be the change enabler by acting as an SME and defining the business needs,the rationale for change. You will use your SME skills to understand the current state, to define the future state, and to determine the activities required to move from the current to the future state. You will get a chance to address complex challenges, find a way to deliver business value and deliver better business outcomes by working closely with Product Designers (CX/UX), Business Architects, Testers (QA), Business data Managers (BDM)

Qualifications & Role Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Banking & Finance
  • 4+ years experience in Banking domain delivering technology solutions to improve business outcome
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with product delivery team, sales team, client and account managers and act as SME for them
  • Make a compelling business case and value proposition. Ensure projects achieve promised business value/RoI
  • Lead requirements elicitation and collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to obtain information
  • Conduct and lead Requirements Life Cycle Management tasks to manage and maintain requirements and design information from inception to retirement.
  • Drive adoption of IIBA best practices, agile product delivery and lean principles.
  • Drive collaboration with development/QA to identify test cases/scenarios, conduct UAT and train the trainer/user, support change management and the product manager with commercialisation.
  • Lead all aspects of backlog refinement and increment planning and champion Dev Ops & Built-in quality principles and limit WIP.
  • Champion minimum viable thinking by defining, prioritising, estimating and planning small increments to achieve increment plans.
  • Drive early remediation by reducing waste, rework, identify risks, issues and dependencies within scope and across projects
  • Requirements

    Skills:

  • Hands on experience delivering IT projects in Banking & Financial services domain
  • Deep understanding of Lending & Mortgage data and applications used in the domain
  • Adept at performing requirements analysis and design definition to structure, organize, specify and model requirements and designs, validate and verify information
  • identify solution options that meet business needs, and estimate the potential value that could be realized for each solution option.
  • Use visual diagrams and collaborative games to model scope, interfaces, story context, data flows, processes, and Enterprise wide dependencies.
  • Strong Agile skills and should be able to drive resolutions for impediments and spikes and enable epics/stories, and synthesise the data to articulate requirements.
  • Document Epics/features/themes to analyse user stories - identify gaps, missing stories, acceptance criteria, scenario development and all requirement categories.
  • Own decomposition of portfolio epics, features, elicitation, analysis, story writing and acceptance
  • Analyse/document data requirements and model data flows/ ERDs through all 7 product dimensions on a portfolio level by pairing with BDMs.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Strong communication and presentation skill
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies as per the project and program needs
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MS Project, MS Server
  • Nice-to-Have
