Business Analyst

A fast-paced fintech environment is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This intermediate to senior role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial services or technology-driven companies, and a passion for driving clarity, alignment, and innovation.

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements
• Draft Business Requirements Specifications, Technical Specs, User Manuals, and User Journeys
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to elicit and align requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Support QA and UAT processes by validating requirements and test cases
• Assist in designing and optimising business processes and systems
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Visio, Figma, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Comfortable in high-pressure, agile, and innovation-driven environments

• Matric and a relevant bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Finance)
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar) is advantageous
• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, and API integrations is a plus
