Note:

This is NOT a “IT- technical role” ONLY the listed APPLICATIONS support’ no hardware support.
To assist the First Rand Group’s Workiva-, EPM- and Hyperion Applications userbase as well as the Applications Development teams, ensuring alignment with business strategies, compliance with IT governance, and delivery of exceptional stakeholder services. The role is responsible for supporting critical business applications and driving continuous improvement in processes and technologies.
** Are you someone who can:
*** Understand business areas and structures to ensure team alignment with company and area strategic goals.
* Foster innovation and continuous improvement to remain aligned with industry best practices.
* Contribute to business profitability through cost-saving initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with All Firstrand policies, data protection, and application security standards.
* Maintain strict controls over system and user access, adhering to governance and change control methodologies.
* Ensure all internal and external audit requirements are met, including onboarding audit teams and partners.
* Build and maintain quality relationships with stakeholders, delivering exceptional service that fosters trust and collaboration.
* Provide accurate and timely responses to all queries.
* Support critical business applications and their users, ensuring system availability during key reporting periods (monthly, quarterly, half-year).
* Act as liaison for resolution of user requests and application issues via internal teams or external providers.
* Facilitate and assist with internal application UAT before production deployment.
* Develop and maintain end-user guides, training platforms, and documentation.
* Assist and maintain the end-user SharePoint site for accessibility and updates.
* Work effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.
* Maintain own professional development and support team growth initiatives.
** You will be an ideal candidate if you possess:**
* ** Experience
* * in Application Service Desk role. **[3-4 years’ experience]**
* ** Oracle Hyperion** [ HFM, Essbase] and
** Workiva
* * knowledge would be an advantage
* Good understanding of business processes and IT governance.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to assist in audits and compliance requirements.
* Technical expertise in application support and development lifecycle.
* Pre-Agreed times for after hours user assistance  support services on certain days would be required.
** Performance Indicators (KPIs)
*** Alignment of team deliverables with strategic goals.
* Compliance audit success rate.
* Stakeholder satisfaction scores.
* System uptime during critical reporting periods.
* Cost-saving initiatives implemented.
** Future Growth possibilities
*** All service desk functions, as above, in an Oracle EPM cloud environment
