Lesaka is looking for a Junior QSR Helpdesk Agent to join our team in Midrand, Johannesburg
. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems, supporting clients, and ensuring smooth operations across hardware and software systems.

Location: Midrand, Johannesburg
Reporting To: Call Centre Manager
Division: Operations

As a Junior QSR Helpdesk Agent, you will:
Deliver outstanding service to customers and clients
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Support and elevate queries to ensure timely resolution
Play a key role in strengthening Lesaka’s reputation for reliability and innovation

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver service to customers with professionalism and efficiency
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about hardware and software
  • Gather customer information and determine issues by evaluating and analysing root causes
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software problems
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Follow standard processes and procedures
  • Identify and elevate priority issues per client specifications
  • Redirect problems to appropriate personnel when necessary
  • Accurately process and record call transactions using designated software
  • Offer alternative solutions where appropriate to retain customer and client business
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
  • Stay up to date with software and hardware changes/enhancements

Minimum Requirements & Competencies

Grade 12 qualification
Computer literacy (essential)
A+ and N+ certifications or relevant experience
Point of Sale experience, restaurant industry knowledge, SQL skills, and other IT qualifications advantageous
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Punctual, reliable, presentable
Ability to work independently and achieve goals without constant supervision
