Overview:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to join our team in the mining industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, strong knowledge of South African labor laws, and excellent communication skills. This is a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for our mining company in Gauteng
– Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
– Maintain and update employee payroll records and information
– Calculate and process leave and other employee benefits
– Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and company policies
– Work closely with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues
– Generate regular payroll reports for management review
– Stay up to date on changes in labor laws and regulations related to payroll processing

Requirements:
– Grade 12
– Diploma in Payroll Administration or a relevant qualification
– At least 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the mining industry
– Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
– Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Diploma or degree in HR or related field preferred
