IntroductionThe Human Capital Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of core HR operations. This role ensures accurate HR data management, compliance reporting, and seamless execution of employee lifecycle processes. The incumbent supports payroll inputs, onboarding, and statutory reporting, while driving consistency across systems and documentation. This role enables the Human Capital team to focus on strategic priorities by ensuring operational excellence.
HROperations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records on the HRIS system.
- Prepare contracts, letters of appointment, and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including induction scheduling and exit interviews.
- Track and manage leave, attendance, and timekeeping records.
Ensure all HR documentation is compliant with labour laws and internal policies

- Assist with Employment Equity and Skills Development reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
- Collate and verify payroll inputs (e.g., leave, overtime, deductions).
- Liaise with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate processing.
- Assist employees with benefit queries and documentation.
- Schedule interviews and assessments.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Support the onboarding of new hires with documentation and system setup.
- Respond to employee queries or redirect them appropriately.
- Assist in organising wellness days, training sessions, and HR events.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee interactions.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Min 5 years’ experience in HR administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Word (Intermediate)
- PowerPoint (Intermediate)
- Outlook ( Intermediate)
- SharePoint (Intermediate)
- Excel (Advanced)
- Teams (Intermediate)
- HRIS systems (e.g., Sage).
- Knowledge of South African labor legislation.
