ASI Financial Services (ASI), a group of authorised financial services providers, is seeking a Member Consultant – Health Care to join its Employee Benefits team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional advice, effective administration, and exceptional service to members across healthcare and employee benefit schemes.
Key Responsibilities Member Advisory and SupportDemonstrate a sound understanding of employee benefits, including medical schemes, employee wellness programmes, and expatriation health benefits
Conduct in-depth assessments of members’ healthcare needs and provide appropriate advice
Accurately record advice on the CRM system and provide members with a record of advice
Ensure members understand their benefits, exclusions, and the administration processes of their appointed schemes
Advise members exiting employment (retirement or resignation) on available healthcare options and refer them to authorised financial planners where applicable
Training and EngagementConduct and arrange on-site member assistance sessions, inductions, and training workshops
Participate in year-end benefit revisions and medical scheme roadshows
Prepare and distribute meeting notes following all engagements
Administration and Query ManagementResolve member and employer queries, escalating complex matters to senior consultants when required
Maintain accurate records of client communications, attendance registers, queries, and option change forms
Request and manage information received from medical schemes to support projects
Assist with billing discrepancies, compliance audits, and claims-related queries
Provide daily support to members and HR teams, including claims updates and documentation
Promote additional healthcare products to enhance member benefits where appropriate
Qualifications and ExperienceFAIS Fit & Proper compliant (NQF Level 5, Regulatory Exams, Class of Business – Healthcare)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health care administration
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
