Description:
My client is in the Food Manufacturing Industry
This role will assist in implementing and maintaining health & safety system to ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018
Responsibilities- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Assist with development and implementation of safety policies
- Provide safety training and support to employees
- Assist with ensuring that all legal training is kept up to date
- Assist with internal system audits
- Carry out toolbox talks
- Assist with accident/incident reporting
- Coordinate annual medical screening
- Coordinate monthly SHE committee meetings
- Issuing of PPE and accurate record keeping
- Assist with hygiene inspections in the factory
- Tertiary Qualification in Safety Management or similar qualifications
- ISO 45001:2018 certification
- First Aid certification
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Food Manufacturing will be an added advantage
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Provident fund
