Job PurposeAs therapeutic area scientific expert for the Neuroscience and PAH portfolio is:
To enhance the collaboration, support and communication between the local and Emerging Markets Medical Affairs Team for the Gastroenterology portfolio and relevant cross-function stakeholders
To discuss Janssen products, treatment trends & clinical studies through high quality scientific communication with external stakeholders
To contribute to realizing company goals through the medical affairs plan
To keep abreast of the latest medical and scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area
To develop and maintain a contact network with Leading Specialists
To provide strategic input to the company medical affairs plan & business decision-making
Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists & other external customers
Reactive assistance with Named Patient Programs
Organizing & participating in medical education activities & advisory boards
Supporting other departments with training requirements, whilst acting as a reference point for scientific queries
Science degree:
PhD, Masters or PharmacistExperience in pharmaceutical industry or research company and with competency in a project management capacity.
Medical and clinical experience (preferred)
Deep scientific knowledge on the therapeutic area
Excellent communication skills
Business Acumen
Ability to work within a matrix – to work independently, as well as part of a team
Interpersonal skills / leadership
Highly motivated
Ability to travel regularly
Enjoy customer relationship building
Problem-solving skills
Strong collaborator
