Accounts Payable Analyst

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain separate accounts and accurate financial records for tax and compliance purposes.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and collaborate with relevant departments as required.
• Work closely with other finance professionals to support and achieve organisational goals.
• Administer accounts record keeping and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
• Process supplier invoices on the D365 system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Manage and maintain staff debtor accounts, liaising with Human Resources regarding payroll deductions where applicable.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of year-end financial audits.
• Develop and administer financial procedures related to development initiatives, including initiating and processing payment documentation.
• Support the procurement function by assisting with the completion and maintenance of supplier documentation for record-keeping purposes.
• Maintenance of Forex exchange data on a monthly basis, and communicate this information with the Financial Manager.
• Review and verify employee expense claims in line with company policies.
• Perform monthly processing, verification, and reconciliation of vendor invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.

• Tertiary qualification in Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar financial or accounting role.
