Role PurposeThe Advice Enablement Specialist in this space will enable the delivery of consistent, high quality, trusted and compliant financial advice in the digital and automated advice channel. The role uplifts advisor capability, supports automated advice tool adoption, embeds the advice philosophy and principles, and ensures alignment with FAIS/FSCA requirements. The specialist works closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, Frontline and Platform Enablement teams to optimise advice journeys and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Are you someone who can:
- Embed the organisation’s integrated advice philosophy, principles and standards in digital solutions.
- Translate regulatory requirements (FAIS, Fit & Proper, TCF/COFI) into practical guidance, templates, and decision tools.
- Support oversight of advice quality and contribute to risk‑mitigation initiatives.
- Key Advice SME in developing automated advice tools.
- Driver of determining advice logic for automated advice tools.
- Provide technical guidance for complex advice scenarios.
- Participate in testing identify defects/enhancements and collaborate with development teams.
- Develop enablement materials and communications for platform releases and new features.
- Enable adoption of advice tools.
- Track and monitor advice quality and behaviour trends of the automated advice tools.
- Must have FSCA-recognised degree (NQF Level
7). - Must have RE1 and RE5 (or willingness to complete within agreed timeframe).
- CFP designation advantageous.
- Must have 5–7 years’ experience as a Financial Advisor.
Technical: Financial planning knowledge, regulatory understanding (FAIS), digital advice tools, products, pricing, processes
Behavioural: Strong communication, analytical problem solving, customer centricity, attention to detail, ability to influence across teams
