Pricing Actuary & Chief Risk Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified actuary to be part of the executive team.

This permanent position provides the unique opportunity to the successful candidate to develop the actuarial function and manage the well-established internal risk

We require a candidate with:

• Must be fellow Actuary – Life Insurance experience

• Honours degree in Actuarial Science

• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)

• Registered with the Institute of Actuaries or the Actuarial Society of South Africa.

• Minimum of 5 – 8 years in similar position

• Knowledge of the SAM framework

• Effective report writing

• Actuarial reserving techniques

• Strong communicator

• Predictive analytics modelling

• Knowledge of various pricing models applicable to all products
