Pipeline Engineer

Please note this position is based in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. All Relocation Costs will be covered.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Pipeline Engineer with extensive expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of pipelines, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pipeline engineering activities across all project phases, ensuring compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve pipeline engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.

• Perform hydraulic, stress, and material analyses to ensure pipeline integrity and safety.

• Supervise construction, installation, and testing of onshore/offshore pipelines.

• Develop and review pipeline route selection studies, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assurance of pipeline systems.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Provide technical support in resolving pipeline operational and maintenance issues.

• Prepare reports, schedules, cost estimates, and technical documentation for project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

• Professional Engineering registration/certification (preferred).

• 7+ years of proven work experience in pipeline engineering, with a strong background in construction projects.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of pipeline design, construction, and operation.

• Proficiency in pipeline engineering software (CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, Pipeline Studio, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
