Overview

Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency in the Mining industry, is currently seeking an experienced Underground Surveyor to join their client’s team in Gauteng. As an Underground Surveyor, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and reliable spatial data for underground mining operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform underground surveys to determine precise measurements of tunnels, stopes, and other underground mining areas.

Utilize surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS to collect data.

Create and maintain accurate mine maps and plans.

Collaborate with mining engineers and geologists to ensure survey data is aligned with mine design and geological models.

Assist in the development and implementation of mine plans and designs.

Conduct periodic surveys to monitor and assess ground stability.

Provide support for ventilation and geotechnical monitoring systems.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Grade 12

Elementary Survey Certificate – Chamber of Mines

National Diploma in Mine Surveying

3+ years of experience as an underground Mine Surveyor

Trackless mining and vids processing

Proficient in using surveying equipment and software.

Good understanding of mine design and geological concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid driver’s license.
