The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in technical subjects to post-secondary students who have recently completed their grade 12 education. Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in technical subjects
• Develop comprehensive curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Provide individualized support and mentoring to students transitioning from secondary to tertiary education
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure relevant course content
• Collaborate with academic colleagues to maintain program standards and continuous improvement
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and institutional committees
• Support student success initiatives and academic advising as needed

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Technology, Red Seal or related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at post-secondary level or equivalent industry training experience
• Strong knowledge of current technical practices and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to students with varying academic backgrounds
• Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems
• Commitment to inclusive and accessible teaching practices

• Relevant technical field
• Professional certifications or licenses in area of expertise
• Industry experience in addition to academic credentials
• Experience with project-based learning.
