This role is hands-on and strategic—ideal for a designer who can both execute excellent work and elevate the design standard across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from concept through execution, ensuring high craft and consistency
- Contribute to and help evolve brand, design systems, and visual standards
- Present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, other designers, proof readers, medical copywriters and client service
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to mid-level and junior designers
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
- Ability to work across all design touch points i.e. Concept, Design, Video, Digital, DTP and Repro
- 5+ years of professional design experience as a senior designer
- Pharmaceutical knowledge and understanding would be beneficial
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and problem-solving
- Expertise in relevant design tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy
- Experience working within design systems and brand guidelines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Strong leadership skills
