MID TO SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER (APPAREL)
SALARY: R30 000 to R40 000 (CTC ) Dependent on experience
- National Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designer
- Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience as a fashion designer
- Must have working experience in using, InDesign and Illustrator for Tech Packs
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of fabrications, dyeing techniques, washes, trims, and finishes.
- Act as supplier liaison assist with fabric and Trims development
- Must have in experience in Ladieswear /Menswear Design
- Analysing ,Forecasting , Trend Research and Range Building
- Planning for new season concepts and presenting to customers for the seasons ahead
- Must be able to travel internationally
- Must have knowledge and experience in Product development for Chain Stores
- working on various design projects but not limited to ,apparel graphics, overall prints
- Assisting with Merchandise and cost management as well as Production.
