Job Description
A medium sized Consulting company with international offices is looking to hire a Business Development Manager.
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics or Marketing.
• 7 years’ experience in a mid to senior level in Sales
• Experience of working in a multinational, multi-segment, environment with matrix reporting.
• Preferred:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or master’s degree in Business Administration.
o Previous experience in the solar industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop growth and market strategy on how to approach the client together with Country Manager SA and execute prospecting.
• Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers to unlock new project opportunities.
• Conduct market research and identify key commercial and industrial customers for distributed solar leasing and energy efficiency systems, within the SA market to maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure business continuity.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition to negotiate with stakeholders.
