Parts Sourcer

Our client a well established workshop is seeking the services of a Parts Sourcer fro the Randburg area.

The candidate will be responsible for procuring motor vehicle parts from various suppliers at the best possible prices to minimise the costs on vehicle repairs.

A strong background in the motor industry with mechanical and technical knowledge of vehicle types, makes and models is essential. Candidates from both an insurance, accident management and panel beater background will be considered as long as experience has been gained in the sourcing of parts.

• Sourcing of motor vehicle parts at competitive prices.
• Ensuring cost savings when procuring parts.
• Check and verify the availability of parts.
• Maintain acceptable turnaround times.
• Ensure workshop has parts on time
• Data capturing of parts prices into computer system.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers

The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience of motor accident damage repair practices.
