Property Bookkeeper

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing property management operations. This is a newly created role offering hands-on exposure across bookkeeping, accounts payable, and day-to-day administrative support within a real estate environment. Real estate or property management experience is a strong advantage.

• Full-cycle bookkeeping for property portfolios
• Accounts Payable processing, including vendor invoices and payments
• Bank and trust account reconciliations
• Regular communication with vendors via phone and email
• Administrative calls to tenants (billing queries, documentation follow-ups, general admin support)
• Assisting with month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

• App Folio experience is a strong plus
• Yardi experience is also highly desirable
• Comfortable working with accounting software and property management systems

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable
• Prior real estate or property management experience is a significant advantage
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with vendors and tenants
• Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Experience working with multiple properties or portfolios
• Exposure to trust accounting
• Understanding of property-related expenses, levies, and utilities
