What you will do

Despatcher is a key role reporting to the Business Support & Operations Excellence Director and is responsible for organizing technicians’ field work. He/she is the right hand of Operations Manager on the ground, taking care of the scheduling and monitoring team performance and job delivery.

How you will do it

As a Despatcher, your responsibilities will be:

Scheduling jobs for around 40 technicians and dispatching vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.

Creating jobs in the system and communicating with the Operations team.

Coordinating with multiple departments and customers for successful job execution.

Following up on timesheet submission, making sure that all 40 technicians have submitted their timesheets and service reports on a weekly basis.

Following up on contract billing and ensuring it is done accurately and timely.

Contributing to process improvement initiatives

Analyzing and consolidating various reports using Excel

What we look for

Required:

University degree or diploma

Ability to deal with multiple urgent situations, and co-ordinate for quick resolution without supervision

High personal discipline and ability to monitor and drive team performance

Attention to detail

Good Excel and numerical skills

Work experience of min. 3-5 years in a similar role
